What is 614 Day?

614 Day is an annual celebration held every June 14th (6/14) in honor of Columbus’s area code. It’s a day dedicated to celebrating all things Columbus, highlighting our community, culture, businesses, and the connections that make our city special.

What began in 2015 as a small gathering at Seventh Son Brewing has transformed into a citywide celebration featuring multiple venues, special events, and thousands of participants. Each year, residents across Columbus come together to eat local, drink local, wear local, buy local, and support local.

The day includes live music from Columbus-based musicians, local food vendors, unique Columbus-themed merchandise, interactive art experiences, and community events designed to foster pride and connection among residents. A special toast at exactly 6:14 PM has become a beloved tradition, uniting participants across all venues in celebration of our city. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to  Columbus, 614 Day offers a chance to deepen your connection with the city and celebrate the community we call home.
